Small Portable Shelters
Port-A-Hut began with the Small Shelter, originally designed by our founder as a durable, portable solution for pasture farrowing. Its proven, virtually maintenance-free design remains ideal for swine, calves, goats, sheep, dogs, chickens, and other small animals.
Each shelter arrives fully assembled with a permanently attached rear enclosure and adjustable upper vent for airflow. It can be moved by one person and must be securely anchored once positioned.

New! Small 3-Season Shelter
Our small 3-Season Shelter offers exceptional ventilation during the warmer months while providing a protected space for your animals. Heavy-gauge wire hardware cloth maximizes airflow, making it ideal for poultry, livestock, and other outdoor uses throughout spring, summer, and fall.
Optional add-ons
There are a few optional add-ons, displayed in the images below. We have a half front and a full front option (with door), a guard rail for protecting the baby pigs (as they allow for passage behind sow). We also have a pig roller unit, which helps to contain the baby pigs inside for 10 to 14 days. The optional pig roller fastens to the front closure of the hut at the door latch.
