Large Shelters Assembly

These shelters come in 7-foot sections and require some assembly. We recommend having two people. Plan on approximately two hours, depending on the shelter’s length. Lay out all the parts prior to assembly. Note the sections with the channel on one side and the sections without it on the other side for positioning. Wait on tightening the bolts completely until after the shelter is fully assembled.

1. Lay out all the base parts with skids, spreader bar(s) and pull straps before assembly. Note the sections with the channel on one side and the sections without it on the other side.

2. Attach the base with skids and the spreader bar(s). Take the top sections and hook the angle into the channel with one person on each side, then lift up on the top sections.

3. Lift the two parts into position, and then raise up the sections together.

4. As the sections are raised up, once they get high enough they won't slide back down. Pull the slide in and the top will rise up in place. Then place the sections on the skids and nail them in place.

5. Here is an example of how the sections hook together at the top.

6. After assembling the 1st section, install the back, a section at a time for easier assembly. Wait on tightening the bolts until the selector is all together.

7. Now assemble the rest of the sections installing the braces as you go. This is an example of the front braces installed displaying how they align. Once complete, tighten all the bolts. As the shelter is positioned in place, anchor it to the ground.
